About this floor
Aspen is a light, natural hickory with lively streaks of cream and golden tones — the paler of the two Colorado colours.
Aspen is an engineered hickory with a 2 mm wear layer on a 7-ply plywood core, 9/16 in thick and 8 in wide in random lengths up to 96 in, and covers 42 sq ft to the box. The planks show knots, holes and seasoning checks. It has a flat surface with light to medium wire-brushing and micro-bevelled edges on all four sides, finished in UrbanWood’s DuRa Finish Ultra Matte, a low-gloss finish that can be upgraded to DuRa Finish Commercial. It can be installed on, above or below grade and over radiant floor heating. It is GREENGUARD Gold certified and CARB II compliant. With the Ultra Matte finish it carries a 30-year finish warranty, a limited lifetime structural warranty and a 3-year light commercial warranty.
Herringbone and chevron are made to order.
