Hickory – Kavala
Kavala floors are made possible by intensive grading of Craft’s select premium grade Hickory. The look that Kavala floors strive for is to showcase hickory’s beautiful brown heartwood by limiting the white sapwood to accent strips along the sides of some boards. The result is a cleaner, more linear look than other natural Hickory hardwood floors.
The distinctive neutral light brown colour that is unique to Kavala is achieved by a subtle surface treatment that mutes some of the warmth naturally present in Hickory’s heartwood, resulting in a natural organic feel perfect for today’s design trends.
